On the first day of my “quarantine diaries” I woke up super late (around 15:00) because I hadn’t had any sleep the night before. As for meals, of course I needed my daily dose of caffeine, so I made iced coffee (my favorite drink). An interesting fact about me is that whenever I wake up later than usual, I don’t feel hungry or thirsty at all, that`s why I just stick with my coffee until diner time.
I spent the rest of my afternoon helping my grandmother with her painting. Her therapist recommend her to start painting during the lockdown, and she had the sweetest idea of painting 15 wine and milk bottles, so when she finally meets her grand and grand grandsons again, she can give one to each, with flowers, just like a vase.
For dinner I used this wrap dough to make a crepe, because I wanted something quick and easy to eat. Well, it takes less than 5 minutes to be ready and doesn’t required forks or knives. Sounded perfect to me! After dinner, my aunt (who`s spending quarantine with us, as she lives by herself and didn’t want to be lonely right now) asked me for some help with her sewing, so I assisted her her with that until bedtime.
The most exciting part of my day, however, was having this oil diffuser delivered. Now I keep telling everyone that my life is divided into two chapters: before and after the diffuser. Especially during these times, I knew I was gonna need to use every relaxation method I could imagine, and even though I wasn’t entirely sold when I first bought it online, I decided to give this device a chance. 3 essential oil drops before going to bed and I sleep like a baby. Also, the fact that it also works as a lamp is pretty cool - the colors even change, from blue to green, pink, purple, yellow, red and white. Worth every single penny.
