QUAROUTINE - 24/04

Rain is back! For those who don’t know, it`s fall season here in the southern hemisphere. We`ve had mostly cloudy and/or rainy days lately (which makes me very, very happy). By now, I`m sure you`ve noticed that my taste for food is the same as a five-year-old`s, and my breakfast was a Nutella B-ready bar. I took some time to read and organize the pictures on my computer and my external hard drive, which actually took me all morning.

I had a wrap for lunch, and in the afternoon, I thought I should clean the house. While organizing my dresser, I found my jewelry box, so I decided to put on some rings and a bracelet because I really miss dressing up to go out with my cousins and friends. Well, this is the closest I`ll get to “dressing up” for the next few months. I also found this cute souvenir that I got back in July 2014, in Belgium. It`s inspired by the Manneken Pis statue in Brussels. I think even Zora got tired from all that cleaning!

My mom had a super stressful day at work (as any health professional right now), so when she got gome she told me to order some Japanese food (her favorite) for dinner. DISCLAIMER: the Brazilian city of São Paulo holds the largest Japanese community outside of Japan. That being said, when the immigrants arrived here - about 112 years ago - they had to find ways to adapt their traditional meals to what they encountered here, so the food you see below is actually the Brazilian version of sushi. Yes, that is cream cheese, not mayo, and it tastes 100000 times better.
